A BIG Thank You!

Hey people, Post here.

I would just like to thank everyone who has watched episode 1 already. I just remember over a month after the first episode was revealed on our YouTube channel, we only had a little over 1500 views. We now have over 19,000 I'm sure. It is just amazing how much exposure Thrown Out is getting.

I've been reading the comments on Episode 1, and people are wondering if we are going to stop after 3 episodes. I assure you we are not going to stop after 3. We have 5 completed episodes and plan on 12 to finish the season. And depending on what people want, there may be a season 2. Maybe.

Also, to answer some more of your questions, Josh and myself will be going live tomorrow night at 5pm CST. To view our BaestCast live, either click here, or go to the tab on the top of the page entitled BaestCast.

Thanks again. Have a great day.

Love

PS. I added a Wikia for the world of Thrown Out. You can go there by clicking here or clicking Wiki above. Please note that it is in development and is not fully complete, but maybe some interesting stuff you can find out on there.

I Realized Something Today...

Hey guys!

I'm gonna drop a story on you real quick. Back in December, Post and I had this little idea going where, since we had both played and enjoyed Fallout 3 (I owned it for PC, and he had rented it for 360), we would buy each other the Game of the Year edition of it for the 360 as Christmas gifts. Post beat his fairly quick, while I delayed it (I was trying to figure out how to make Thrown Out, and then some other games came out).

Well guys, I've just finally beaten the main quest (and numerous side-missions) of Fallout 3 after only 3 solid days of playing. Now, originally I thought, "Wow...I didn't expect to beat it that quickly", until I realized, I already put over 20 hours into the game. Granted, that's only 6 hours a day (which isn't a lot for me, considering I played Mass Effect 2 for 16 hours straight the day it came out), but still, the time flew by. It was 20 hours, but it felt more like 5-6.

Why am I telling you all of this? Well, it's the prime example of why we make Thrown Out using Fallout 3: it is an amazing game. I can't wait to finish up all the DLC missions, and as many side quests as I can.

Thank you, Bathesda, for creating the best game of 2008, and one of the best games of the current generation.

Now I guess it's time to get back to work on Thrown Out...

Update on Thrown Out Status

Hey guys,

Well, I've got some good news, and some bad news.

The bad news is that Episode 5 will be delayed a few weeks. Whenever I send in a video to the guys at Machinima.com, it takes an estimated 3-7 days to get it posted online (understandably, considering the amount of content they put out). This means that if I send them each episode in succession, we're looking at a possible month-long delay, which sucks, but it does come with a prize, in that Thrown Out will be exposed to a much larger audience.

Now, for the good news. For one, each episode is going to be re-released, so you guys will be able to watch them soon enough, all over again. Which will be a nice refresher to get everyone ready for Episode 5. Another thing is, this gives the production team -- Post, the voice actors, and myself -- time to prepare for future episodes. As I speak, I am working on writing the screenplays for Episodes 6 - 10, while Post finishes up the outlines for 11 and 12. Depending on how fast we can get writing done, I may release the rest of the episodes (5 and on) on a weekly basis. That way, your waiting will be awarded. In addition, keep your eyes open, and keep watching this page, because there may be some treats in the works.

So yeah, that's about it. Episode 1 should be online within a few days, and then Episode 2 a few days after that, and so on and so forth.

Ich liebe euch alle!

Videos Down?

Hey there! Ryan Post here. Just thought I would let you guys in on a few changes that will be happening over the next few days. First change is you will NOT be able to watch any of the episodes of Thrown Out for a little while. We have to re-upload them and that will take some time as Machinima's process can be slow. So please be patient while all the videos are being uploaded again.

Also, Episode 5 will not be released until AFTER Episodes 1-4 are uploaded again, so that new viewers can catch up. So please please please be patient and we will be back up and running soon enough. There may be a special treat for this delay. So keep your eyes on the page!

It's Like A Dream Come True

Hey guys,

Back in December, I took my first venture into machinima. I had always been a fan. I remember watching the early Red vs. Blue stuff and thinking to myself, "Wow, these guys really know what they're doing." (Even today, I buy every DVD those guys release, and pay to be a subscriber to their site, those guys deserve it.)

Today is a very important day. For one, we've been invited to join Machinima.com's Directors Program, which is a huge honor, especially so soon in the life of Thrown Out (I mean, we're only on episode 4). So guys, we're starting to take off.

But most importantly, this evening, at 5:36 P.M. (Central), on March 2nd, 2010, Ryan Post's girlfriend gave birth to a baby girl. I've known Post for 3 years, and he's been my best friend for the majority of the time I've known him. He's basically a brother to me, and I know for certain that he will make a great father, and I wish my utmost congratulations to him, his girlfriend, and their respective families.

So everybody give some love to the Post family, and welcome their new addition.

Let's all have a good one.
